1. Who we are

2. These terms
These terms apply to every order you place with us through this website. By placing an order you confirm that you accept them. Please read them before ordering.
3. Our products
Vanilla pods are a natural agricultural product. Length, colour, thickness and aroma vary between pods and between harvests. Photographs on this site are indicative; the pods you receive will meet the grade and minimum length stated but will not be identical to the images.
All products are sold as described. We take care to ensure descriptions, weights and counts are accurate at the time of publication.
4. Placing an order
Your order is an offer to buy from us. A contract comes into existence when we send you an email confirming that your order has been accepted and dispatched. If we cannot supply a product — for example because it has sold out — we will tell you and refund any payment taken in full.
5. Price and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Postage is calculated and displayed at checkout before payment.
Payment is processed by Stripe Payments UK Ltd. We do not receive or store your card details. If a price is obviously wrong through a genuine error, we may cancel the order and refund you rather than supply at that price.
6. Delivery
Delivery timescales, costs and international restrictions are set out on our delivery & returns page, which forms part of these terms. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
7. Cancellation and returns
Your rights to cancel and return, and the exceptions that apply to sealed perishable food goods, are set out in full on our delivery & returns page.
8. Food safety and allergens
Our vanilla pods are a single-ingredient product: cured vanilla beans (Vanilla planifolia), with nothing added. They are packed in a facility that also handles other dried food products. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before ordering.
Keep sealed, cool and dry. Best before date is shown on the pack.
9. Our liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your legal rights in relation to the goods.
Otherwise, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable at the time the contract was made, or for business losses. We supply goods for domestic and private use unless a trade order has been agreed in writing.
10. Intellectual property
All text, photographs, branding and design on this site belong to MG Pearl Artisan Vanilla and may not be reproduced without our written permission.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this site at the moment you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
